Your messages

The messages you send are used to generate Bowl's replies. We do not save the text of your messages on our server. Your chat history shown on the page is kept only in your own browser; pressing New clears it.

What Bowl remembers

While you chat, Bowl keeps an internal state, a set of numbers that holds what it remembers from the conversation. For free users this state is kept only in memory and is discarded when the service restarts or when it is not used for a while. For members it is saved on our server so Bowl can remember you between visits. Pressing New deletes it.

Payments

Payments are handled by Stripe. We never see your card details. Stripe tells us the email address you entered at checkout and a payment reference, which we keep to manage your membership.

Cookies

We use only the cookies needed to run the service: one that identifies your conversation and, for members, one that identifies your membership. We use no advertising or analytics cookies.

Sharing

We do not sell your information or share it for advertising. We do not use your messages to train our models without asking you first. Our traffic passes through Cloudflare, which sees your IP address in order to deliver the site.

Your choices

You can ask us to delete your membership data at any time by emailing [email protected].
